This means extra training on weekends and exciting opportunities with Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet schools. Competing for a small number of places with hundreds of children from big city ballet classes and wider areas this is really wonderful news. Wishing them all the best in this exciting journey 🩰🤩

✨Monnow Ballet celebrates all pupils whatever their ability and prides itself in bringing out the best in every child. Those showing particular potential are guided through audition pathways if they wish. ✨

Monnow Ballet offers Royal Academy of Dance ballet classes to children age 3+ and ballet and contemporary to adults of all abilities and levels of fitness/mobility - seated dancers most welcome.

Childrens classes are Mon/Tues/Fri at Whitchurch (btwn Monmouth and Ross) and Saturdays at Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall.

Adult classes are all through the week at Abergavenny, Usk, Monmouth, Whitchurch and Ewyas Harold.

Wow well done girls! A fantastic and joyous performance of young Elsa and Anna today. How wonderful that these two, actual sisters, were both chosen for these roles. Cast so well as they really are a lovely duo 🥰. Fabulous acting, singing and dancing, super impressed! 👏🎭

An enjoyable lesson of adult ballet today at Monmouth cricket club. A mix of beginners and those wanting to go slowly through the basics to improve their technique. We looked mainly at posture, arm positions and classical walks. Well done everyone, a really productive class 👏🩰

New dancers are very welcome! No knowledge of ballet required. Suitable for all bodies, ages and fitness. Half term next week so our next Monmouth class is Friday 5th June at 11:30am

Cheerleading for our silver swan Mary at Ballet Cymru last night. A wonderful performance of adult ballet, an accessible children’s group and astonishing talent from the pre professional dancers 👏🩰💃. Congrats all!

Fabulous seated ballet session today with the Monmouth Parkinsons group! Gentle graceful movements were shown by all 👏💃🕺with some fun along the way. Dean Martin vs Tchaikovsky is always a good mix!

Dance offers such benefits to everyone, including those with Parkinsons. Research shows improved motor function, coordination and control as well as giving that wonderful mood/brain boost that moving creatively to music brings.
