Our Digital Leaders really enjoyed the Summer term Digital Leaders conference at school yesterday. They learned how to use technology to create models in Science and then completed some investigations using data loggers to gather data. They then had to read and interpret the data, producing a digital science report that they had to present to the group! A fantastic STEM day of Science and Technology!

A Week of Sporting Success :

It has been a fantastic week of success at Hampton Dene on the sporting front. On Monday, an U11s Boys team won the Hereford City Schools Football Tournament. Finishing 2nd in their group of four, the boys progressed through the quarter and semi - finals comfortably, before scoring a last-minute winner during extra time in the final.

Owing to recent sporting performances, a group of Y5/6 Girls were invited by The Herefordshire Football Association to represent the county at the English Schools Football Association Regional Finals in Birmingham - with schools taking part as far afield as Humberside and Lincolnshire. The girls performed fantastically : drawing two games and losing two games - one very narrowly. Unfortunately, this was the end of their tournament, but valuable footballing experience was gained at a prestigious level.
