🌲✨ We Heard You… So We’re Reopening the Forest! ✨🌲

After lots of messages and requests from our community, we’ve decided to reopen our beautiful forest space this February Half Term for a special Stay & Play session, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back.

Our 0.6-acre private woodland at Henlow Bridge Lakes will once again be filled with:

🔥 Fire circle moments
🥔 Campfire lunch
🪵 Woodwork
🥣 Mud kitchen magic
✨ And plenty of child-led forest adventure

This is your chance to reconnect with nature, slow down, and spend meaningful time outdoors together.

📍 The Forest, Henlow Bridge Lakes

Spaces are limited to protect the quality of the experience, and previous sessions have filled quickly, so please don’t wait if you’d like to join us.

As we come to the end of another wonderful year, we just want to say a huge thank you to all our children and families for your continued support, trust, and belief in what we do. It truly means the world to us.
We’ve shared so many special moments together, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of your children’s early years journey. We can’t wait to welcome you back and continue the adventure in 2026.
Before we head into the festive season, here are a few gentle reminders about everyday items that bring endless joy and learning for children:
Cardboard boxes are one of the most loved resources for children of all ages!
They can be:
Cut into paper or boards for drawing and mark-making
Turned into frames for nature pictures on winter family walks
Used for building, role play, and imaginative play
👉 Please feel free to cut and donate boxes in January, we can never have enough!
Wrapping paper can be:
Used on the reverse side for colouring and drawing
Made into homemade paper
Cut into shapes or decorations to create thank-you cards
If you’re lucky enough to have a real Christmas tree, it can be:
Pruned and sawn into small discs for creative activities
Many of our preschoolers have a good understanding of how to do this safely, but adult supervision is always recommended.
Pin from tree can be saved and used for:
Potion making
Sensory and loose-parts play
Simple, open-ended materials like these support creativity, problem-solving, and imagination – often far more than toys ever could.

We have a handful of spaces remaining for tomorrow's session; however, these spaces are for walking families only, as parking is fully booked!
You can park locally and walk down, drop off and collection or pay and park at Arlesey West Station.
