I have taught English for over 25 years. I taught in schools for 12 years and am now teaching p/t at University. As well as examining for the sixth year, I used to lead on KS4 developing strategies for students to achieve high grades by studying the examiner reports and interrogating each Assessment Objective. I'm currently tutoring 5 different exam boards and enjoying exploring strategies for their varying approaches to assessment.

KS3 is a favourite stage of learning for me to teach. I think it's so valuable for students to secure a clear understanding of requirements for success in English. I adore teaching KS5 and the depth of study required. Having taught both English Literature and English Language and Literature, I could help your child develop their understanding of texts and essay writing skills.

Spaces for next year are filling -up fast. I will not be raising my prices until the Autumn and if you secure a place for September, today's price will be fixed for the entire academic year.
