Our lovely Year 3 class were lucky enough to take part in the Lantern parade organised by the River and Rowing Museum last week.
A member of the team, came into school where they helped and instructed the children to create some fantastic lanterns. The children then had the opportunity to showcase them at the parade on the Friday evening.
“I loved seeing the joy on the children’s faces this evening when they first went out into the darkness and saw their homemade, illuminated lanterns glowing! Valley class, you too are all stars and light up all of our lives. I felt immensely proud of how you all conducted yourselves this evening. Thank you to all of you for coming along.” Mrs Richens, Year 3.
