Last Saturday at Sew2it I held a specialist workshop for four friends on Pattern Cutting an Easy Fitting Bodice Block to their own measurements. They also made a toile to check the fit. Well done ladies

2026 has got off to a flying start in the Sew2it Sewing Studio based in Henley in Arden.
Plenty of new projects underway such as 1940’s inspired coat,lined dressing gown ( as per picture), needle cord dress, pyjamas,curtains,roman blinds and so much more.
Sew2it is unique as students bring along their individual projects and seek advice on measuring,cutting out,construction and finishing.
There is a max of 6 people per class and there are regular daytime and evening classes.

Do you have an Overlocker collecting dust in a corner or apprehensive about how to use it ?
On my ‘Get to know your Overlocker’ workshop on Saturday 14th February I will teach you how to become friends with it.
During the workshop I will guide you through how to re-thread,adjust tensions,use of the differential feed, 3 versus 4 thread use, roll hemming and many more tips and tricks.
