☀️ Our Reception children have been making the most of the patio area with the lovely weather recently. They’ve been doing observational drawings of flowers, making and playing drum kits, playing in the sandpit and dressing up 💐🥁🏝️💃

🦶🚴‍♂️🛴This week and next week are Big Walk and Wheel Weeks! Last week, we had a visit from Active Travel to learn about the benefits of walking, scooting or cycling to school. The children tried out pedometres to see how they helped us to get exercise. They also acted out being an ambulance trying to get to a patient with lots of cars in the way 🚑

Last week, Sycamore Class had a career talk from a grandparent who was in the Navy. He talked about where he went, what ships he worked on and about some of his key roles and responsibilities ⛴️

Year 1 have been making puppets in their DT lessons ✂️

✍️ Our Reception children have been impressing us with their sentence writing!

The deadline to apply for Reception school places for September 2026 is 15th January. We have a school tour tomorrow - call us to book!

Year 2 have designed and made healthy wraps as part of their DT this term. We made sure we included food from each of the food groups: fruit and vegetables, carbohydrates, protein and dairy.
