Hi everyone, here's a copy of this terms newsletter.

Dates to note are the Summer Concerts at Grove Lea on the 11th July, Badsworth Summer Fete on the 20th June and the WMS Summer Concert at Wakefield Cathedral on the 19th June.

Details of which groups are performing at each event are on the letter - it promises to be a busy but brilliant term of music 🎶

We’re really excited for WMS Rocks tonight at WX in Wakefield, featuring groups from across Wakefield Music Services 🎶 if you’re looking for some live music tonight, we’d love to see you here, 7-9pm!

Hi everyone, just a quick reminder that music centre isn't on this week or over the Easter break. Our next rehearsal will be on April 18th.

A newsletter will be sent out as normal at the start of next term, but one date for your diaries is Badsworth Summer Fete on the 20th June - Junior Band, Senior Strings and Big Band will be the groups performing 🎶 If you've not been before, it's a lovely family event!

We had another excellent concert yesterday morning! 🎶

It was an emotional occasion for all of us at Hemsworth Music Centre as it was our last concert with the wonderful Mr Kidd, but as ever the students performed brilliantly in a fitting tribute to an amazing career. We wish Mr Kidd all the best in his well-earned retirement - enjoy!

The groups performing are: Concert Band, Junior Strings, Fluticious, Fingers N Frets and Orchestra 🎻🎺

We had an amazing concert this morning, the kids all played brilliantly - here’s a clip of Senior Strings playing El Gaucho 🎻🎶

Hi everyone, we're really looking forward to our Spring Concert on Saturday 🎵🎶

The concert will start at 9:30, so pupils need to arrive at 9 to get set up and ready to go.

The groups playing this week are: Senior Strings, Junior Band, Intermediate Strings and Big Band, as well as a couple of solo pieces from our musicians - it's going to be a fantastic morning!

As always, raffle prizes are greatly appreciated.
