The King Langley Cricket Club has been saddened to learn of the death of Tony Townley. After a short battle with cancer, Tony passed away at home on the 19th of June at the age of 80.
He played for KLCC for many years, primarily as a middle order, left-handed batsman in the first team. He captained the club and was also an integral member of the side that won the Herts Competition League.
The funeral and celebration of the life of Tony Townley will be held on Friday 10th July 2026 at 3.30pm at the following venue:
Hemel Hempstead Crematorium,
Bedmond Road,
Hemel Hempstead,
HP3 8LL
The family also hope memories can be shared following the funeral at Kings Langley Cricket Club, Vicarage Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 9HR.
The dress code is 'as you wish'.
