Based at The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead Using the exciting and high-profile environment of the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Snowbility has been making a huge difference to the lives of children and adults with additional needs and rehabilitation challenges. This has been seen not only in their skiing and snowboarding ability, but also in their social and motor skills, such as communication, confidence, interaction and fitness.

It isn’t always about perfecting a technique or how well they ski. Sometimes success is having a go, following an instruction, doing a little more independently or simply believing, “I can do this.”

Those moments matter - both on the snow and in everyday life.

What a special day!

Our fabulous student George and our founder Richard had the wonderful opportunity to meet Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh The Royal Family during her visit to The Snow Centre.

The Duchess was there to mark her new patronage supporting wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans through adaptive snowsports.

We were incredibly proud to have the chance to say hello, have a chat and share such a memorable moment.
