At Boxmoor Pre-school we provide a safe and fun enviroment for the promotion of the education of Pre-school children from 2 to rising 5 years old and early starter places for children from 2 years old. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping all children to achieve their full potential by learning through their play and carefully planned activities.

☀️ Sun Cream Reminder ☀️

Due to the warmer weather and the numerous requests, please ensure that your child has sun cream applied before they arrive at preschool each morning.

If your child has their own named sun cream stored at preschool, please ask a member of staff for it and apply it before bringing your child into the setting.

We will continue to reapply sun cream after lunch to help keep all children protected throughout the day.

Some of the children got creative and made their very own shakers to support England in today’s World Cup match!

The children had lots of fun decorating their shakers, developing their fine motor skills and expressing their creativity while getting excited for the big game. 🎉 ⚽️

SAVE THE DATE 📆

Thursday 2nd July @7:30pm

The next committee meeting is just round the corner and we really need more parents to join! The committee is an extremely important part of the preschool, as without one then they wouldn’t be allowed to remain open.

If anyone can spare half an hour for the evening then we’d really appreciate it. You can have as much or as little involvement as you like but we’d love to see you there!

⚽🏅 World Cup Fun at Preschool! 🏅⚽

Our little football stars are celebrating the World Cup with an exciting penalty shootout challenge! The children put their football skills to the test as they tried to get the ball past Mrs Davies, who did a fantastic job as goalkeeper! 🥅⚽

There were lots of smiles, cheers, and encouragement as the children took their turns and supported their friends. To celebrate their amazing effort and participation, every child received a medal.🏅🌟

The rain didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time yesterday! Our little football stars enjoyed a fun-filled parachute session, running, laughing, and working together as they made the parachute bounce, wave, and fly.

⚽️🌍 World Cup Ready! 🌍⚽️

The children are World Cup ready! They are enjoying a range of exciting football themed activities. From exploring painting with footballs to create unique patterns, enjoying a football pitch tuff tray, and taking part in exciting games and challenges with their friends.

These activities encouraged creativity, teamwork, communication, and lots of active fun as we celebrated the excitement of the World Cup together.
