Rain certainly didn't stop play at our rescheduled Prep and Senior Sports Day recently.

Our pupils showed fantastic determination, healthy competition and true sporting spirit throughout the afternoon where winners and runners up earnt points for their House.

Congratulations to Wyvern House, who were crowned this year's Sports Day champions!

Well done to every pupil who gave their all, cheered on their teammates and embodied the values that make sport at Westbrook Hay so special.

On the 82nd anniversary of D-Day last month, our Year 8 pupils continued their learning about one of the most ambitious military operations in history and the bravery, courage and resilience shown by those who helped bring an end to the Second World War.

Inspired by interviews with veterans now in their late 90s, pupils created their own D-Day medals to honour the courage of ordinary people who achieved remarkable things.

These special designs will be sent to The D-Day Story, where they will become part of the museum’s archive, helping future generations understand and remember.

Our Year 3 pupils recently had a fantastic time on their 'cosy camping' night at school. With glorious sunshine, exciting wide games and plenty of fun together it was an exciting night which came towards the end of the school year.

For many, it was their first night away from home, making it a wonderful opportunity to build resilience and independence. What an adventure!

We recently come together to celebrate our Year 6 pupils and the end of their journey through Prep School. We reflected on the many memories, achievements and milestones they have created along the way.

We marked the special occasion with a formal Evensong in our Performing Arts Centre, before gathering together on the Veranda and in the Rose Garden for a final celebration.

For many of our pupils, this is not goodbye as they return in September as Year 7, continuing their Westbrook Hay journey. For others, it is a fond farewell as they move on to new adventures.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved during their time in the Prep section of School. They have grown in confidence, developed their talents and embraced every opportunity and now it is time for the next exciting chapter of their educational journey.

Wherever their path takes them, we will always be cheering them on and supporting them every step of the way

We’re delighted to have achieved Sun Safe Schools Accreditation!

This recognition celebrates our whole-school commitment to promoting sun safety and helping our pupils stay healthy while enjoying time outdoors.

Congratulations to all of our pupils who took part in the national 'If You Were an Engineer, What Would You Do?' competition recently. Together with other schools, their entries were judged by engineering professionals from across the UK and we're delighted to share their achievements.

A special congratulations to Georgia and Orla who won and were Highly Commended in the Years 5 and 6 categories.

Georgia and Orla were invited, along with their families, to attend the local public exhibition and awards event to celebrate their success.
