Robins have been working on developing their hand-eye co-ordination by removing the starburst from the tray without touching the tape and placing them back in the tray the same way.

Testing their patience is a positive way!

🥔 H A R V E S T I N G P O T A T O E S ! 🥔

Foxes have been putting their green fingers into practice this week, harvesting the potatoes in The Little Allotment.

As they pulled and dug the veg out of the ground the group investigated size, shape and weight of the potatoes and also discussed their favourite meals with potatoes! They shared ideas around the process of planting through to harvesting and were so proud of the end result!

The children in Badgers have been exploring their inner pirate this week, creating their own pirate flags and treasure maps as they shared ideas about what their pirate names would be, how pirates travel and what they are famous for!

Badgers have been learning how to make paper chains to decorate the room today, listen as one of Badgers describe how to make a paper chains and try to make one at home this summer!

🥒 N A T U R E E X P L O R E R S 🥒

This week, the children in Squirrels have harvested their HUGE cucumbers that they have proudly been looking after so well to help them grow. These particular cucumbers were grown from seeds the children had scooped from cucumbers back in November meaning they have experienced the whole growing process from the very start to finish. No shop bought seeds in sight!

Listen as they narrate their harvesting, washing, prepping and of course watch as they munch on their super fresh organic home grown produce.

A wonderful experience for both staff and children to share - here's to more successful growing. The drought wont stop us!!!

🎶 M U S I C M A E S T R O S ! 🎶

Angie has bought in her wonderful instruments from home so Badgers could experience a music session with a difference!

The children experimented with loud and soft noises, harsh and gentle movements and used the instruments to explore how they were feeling.

A lovely calming garden activity in the much welcomed shade 🥰
