Anyone currently looking for childcare please note this is untrue on so many levels.
Firstly the childcare is not free.
The funding pays less than we charge so if we don’t find ways to make up the shortfall we loose thousands of pounds.
The funding is only paid for 38 weeks a year leaving you paying the rest, and it is paid the term after your child turns 9 months which is often around one year old.
This is confusing and difficult for parents to understand and makes us look like we are money grabbing when we are just trying to earn the same money we always earned.
Childcare is not cheap it has a lot of overheads and expenses.
While the funding is fabulous for parents, it is not all the things he says it is.
