Does your child work really hard but still find reading and spelling a struggle? 📚

Some signs parents often notice:
✔️ Reading is slow or effortful, even with lots of practice
✔️ The same word spelled differently on one page
✔️ Trouble remembering times tables or days of the week
✔️ A big gap between what they can say and what they can write
✔️ Avoiding homework, or saying they feel "stupid"

None of these alone means dyslexia. A proper assessment gives you real answers, and a plan.

Dyslexia is NOT just reversing letters!

Let's bust the biggest dyslexia myth out there. Dyslexia is NOT just reversing letters or reading words backwards. Most children with dyslexia don't do this at all. The real signs are often more subtle: - Difficulty remembering sequences (days of the week, months, times tables) - Taking much longer than peers to complete written tasks - Excellent verbal skills but struggling to get ideas onto paper - Losing their place when reading or skipping lines - Avoiding reading aloud If any of these sound familiar, it may be worth exploring further.
