I invite you to work with me if you are looking to be-come more embodied, co-regulated in your relationships with others and to experience more intimacy with all things. Let us look into the roots of being human in the more-than-human universe and through the eye(s) of our awareness bring more vitality, fluidity and resilience to the ways we move, relate, create.. My approach bridges Argentine tan
go dance, Feldenkries (Awareness Through Movement), movement and theatre based improvisation and play, and other creative practices, ancient shamanic technologies and trauma-informed somatic work. As an artist, teacher and a coach, I aim to create sacred spaces and innovative experiences whose aim is revelation and recognition of our most potent and loving self. My own deep dive into movement, creative and spiritual practices begun early in my childhood. Born to Serbian parents in Yugoslavia, the country that doesn’t exist anymore, as my life experiences broadened and intensified with my journey into exile, over time these practices, including the vocational study of psychology, became ways through which I could support my own healing too. Moving between worlds and identities, following the formal study of architecture and design, I started my professional path as a graphic designer, then shifted into predominantly working with-in dance. Running workshops and events, I played a pioneering role in reviving Argentine tango on this side of the Atlantic Ocean and in creating a globally spread tango scene. I ignited many tango communities across Britain, and ran a historic tango club in London, Zero Hour. My dance-theatre piece La Milonga Interna was critically acclaimed and I collaborated with many other artists across different fields, spanning performance and installation arts, as well as film. I also worked as a coach and a performer for TV and in film. I am an initiate in shamanic ways, namely The Path of Pollen, one of the less known traditions weaving together Eastern European and Keltic cultures. Held by teachers and sacred allies from both sides of the veil, my spiritual inquiry took me to a deep heart awakening into the true nature of reality. This also took me to birthing a visionary practice of Shamanic Tango, and put me onto a writer/filmmaker’s path too. I am currently deeply immersed into study of trauma, and the effects it has on our individual and collective bodies. My personal enquiry has taken me to understanding trauma as a gateway to spiritual transformation and liberation. Stepping down from the fast paced city life, I presently enjoy living much closer to nature, dwelling on a small and quirky houseboat in Cornwall, UK.
