🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

We are proud to share that our academy has come together to support our local food bank by donating an abundance of much-needed items.
These generous donations were delivered today by some of our amazing Student Council members, who represented our academy with kindness and community spirit.

Y10 had a baking session - making Gâteau au Yaourt and Gâteau au Chocolat
Y11 had a competition to make the best bûche de Noël.

Team SUA have welcomed the band, Split Second into the academy today. All students have the opportunity to see the band perform, listen to their experiences and struggles with bullying and their mental health before asking them questions about their career or their talk.

Just a reminder that Christmas Jumper Day is Friday 19th December at SUA! Children are invited to come to school wearing their favourite festive jumper alongside non-school uniform. We kindly ask for a £1 donation, which will go towards our chosen charity ‘Save The Children'.

Mock Exam Timetables
Students in Year 10 have now received their mock exam timetables; these begin on 12th January 2026.
These mocks are the first step in the important preparation for the final exams in 2027 — make sure you’re aware of your exam dates and plan your revision time carefully.
If you have any questions about your timetable, please speak to your form tutor or the exams team as soon as possible.

✨SUA Careers Fair ✨

Year 8 - Year 13 students have been able to network with further education providers, universities, apprenticeship providers, employers and professionals from across a variety of industries. Today was designed to gather information, inspire their futures and arm students with knowledge to make informed decisions at pivtal points during their education.

⭐️Year 7 had an introduction to university assembly led by University of Staffordshire.

⭐️NSCG Stafford College delivered an excellent talk about their Hair and Beauty courses.

⭐️Wolves Foundation delivered a brilliant talk about careers in sport for aspiring students in Year 9 - Year 11.

⭐️Our Year 13 students had an informative introduction to student finance from the University of Staffordshire.

Thank you to all attendees for helping us inspire the future work force. 🚀
