🎄 Student Christmas Performance 🎹🎶

Here’s Arthur playing “Jingle Bells Boogie” 🎄🎹

This is a long and demanding piece for such a young student. Arthur kept going and finished the piece, and the laughter at the end made it extra special.

Very proud of this effort ✨🎄

With Christmas just around the corner, I’ll be sharing a few videos over the coming days of my students playing their favourite Christmas pieces 🎹✨

DatDat started discovering classical music early, and now he’s playing Surprise Symphony! It’s amazing how even one tiny “surprise” note can make the whole piece so fun 🎶✨

So proud of Grace for bravely trying a more challenging piece. 🎹✨
It’s wonderful to see such young learners enjoying music and giving their best.
Well done – keep up the great work! 🌟

June is such a busy month — so many students are going for their piano exams. My daughter is no exception.

At just 8 years old, she took on the challenge of Grade 5 piano, which is really not easy. Teaching your own child is definitely the most challenging job — there are inevitably more arguments and emotions.

As her piano teacher, she really did very well and I’m so proud of her progress. As her mother, sometimes I feel helpless… even though she was perfectly prepared, I can never control the marks she will get. 😮‍💨

Although it wasn’t my exam, I honestly would rather be the one taking it — I was so nervous waiting outside that my heart rate was 110!🥹

But in the end, it’s the process that matters most, and this experience is something we’ll both remember.

Grace is enhancing her listening and imitation skills by echoing short musical phrases on the piano.
