14 Oct was International E-waste day. Also the day that Microsoft withdrew technical support for Windows 10, potentially causing millions more computers to be discarded as they are now incompatible with Windows 11. Doing this on this particular day, are they being ironic, or is it just a coincidence? Europe gets a 1 year bonus, suggesting that the issue is not genuine technical obsolescence, as it seems that it can just be clicked away if you ask nicely.
