A real favourite of mine... everytime I teach averages and range, regardless of what class is in front of me I show them this. Amazing that something as little as this can totally change a students mindset. Funny watching students trying to recall this poem in their averages test too 🤣

Hi my name is Jamie Summers.
I am a fully qualified maths teacher who is currently working at Southmoor Academy in Sunderland. Over the course of my career I have worked in three different schools and worked with students with a wide range of ability. I am looking at potentially doing some home tutoring from the start of the new academic year, September onwards. The focus will be on those aged 11-16 or anyone who may need additional support with their GCSE resit post school. Although I would like to tutor from home there may also be the option to visit students homes if they live locally.
I am very friendly and approachable and I have 11 years experience of working in a school setting. I am very passionate about the subject and will strive to improve your grades. If anybody has any questions feel free to drop me an email. Ideally the students will live in the South Tyneside area as I’m currently living in Hebburn.
