Our Ofsted outstanding rural nursery school is seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic and kind qualified early years educator to join our nurturing and highly qualified staff team.

Young Haymakers is an Ofsted graded outstanding unique rural nursery set within stunning Sussex countryside. We combine a variety of pedagogical approaches (including Montessori, the Curiosity Approach, Enquiry based learning) as part of our high quality indoor provision. Alongside this, we have a strong passion for outdoor learning and utilise the amazing 40-acre woodland site, delivering forest school sessions all year round.

Our caring and dedicated team of staff are chosen for their passion and commitment to providing wonderful experiences for the children in our care. They work together to create a supportive, nurturing and engaging environment.

We seek an early years educator to join our outstanding team working with children from 1-5 years old.

The setting is open 8-5pm; the role will 5 days a week term time with some additional days in school holidays on a rota basis. This will include 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a year.

Applicants will have a minimum of Level 3 early years qualification.

Our ethos is to support and nurture our staff as well as our children and this is an excellent opportunity to join a high quality team for the right person.

Salary subject to qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview.

This amazing 3D creation started with just 3 children, it then developed as more children joined in and demonstrated wonderful collaboration and imaginative play. The children were completely and deeply focused throughout this play (with primarily wooden blocks) and showed great satisfaction - calling to the teacher to come over and look!

We are looking forward to seeing all of you at our Autumn ‘Room on the Broom’ themed Adventure Trail tomorrow from 2-5pm. Please don’t forget we are raising money for some fabulous new equipment for all of the babies, toddlers and children to benefit from, so please raise as many sponsors as you can. Our AMAZING parent panel team have worked extremely hard to create and organise such an amazing afternoon for you and your children to enjoy....don’t forgot your wellies, warm clothing, waterproofs and torches, carriers (for younger babies/toddlers) a carrier bag (to collect items along the way)and £1 coins for hot dogs, hot drink refreshments and craft making...see you all tomorrow 🌳🍁🍂🐾🌭☕️
