My current flatmate is moving out by September, and I need a new person to share the rent with :) This is a lovely 2 double bed, fully furnished house with a garden in Headington. There is also a shared living room/dining area with 1 and a half bathroom. There is space for bike storage in the garden, and a side entrance. Rent is £600 per month.

I'm a PhD student at the John Radcliffe hospital, about to enter my final year. The contract for the house is being renewed at the beginning of July so ideally I would like to renew with a new person by then to move in, in September.
Students preferred as I am not currently paying any council tax, and no couples I'm afraid.

Please message me for more information!

As many of you know, for the first time the student reps from NDCN, DPAG, Pharmacology and the Dunn School of Pathology are jointly organising an event for all the Medical Sciences students!

This will be a seminar with the theme "Where Should I Go Next?", followed by a drinks reception. We're very excited about this first event on Thursday November 30th, at 5pm at the Sherrington Large Lecture Theatre.
We have invited Prof Humphrey Rang (Rang and Dale's Pharmacology) and Dr Adriana Gambardella of Immunocore to talk about life after your DPhil and making the transition into other career paths outside academia, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are also running a CV clinic before the talk, where you can have your CV checked for purpose by a Oxford Careers Rep. Slots are limited! Please email [email protected] to reserve a place and for more info

NDCN, DPAG, Pharmacology and Dunn School of Pathology are working together with the aim of facilitating interaction and collaboration between graduate students, to promote interdepartmental communication.

Where should I go next? It's going to be on 30th November, from 4.30pm in the Sherrington Large Lecture Theatre. Dr Ruth McKernan and Prof Humphrey Rang will tell us their stories and give advice for building our futures.

This will be followed by drinks and nibbles in the Sherrington Library.

The event is free, but remember to register for a place on https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/where-should-i-go-next-tickets-39081426599?utm_campaign=new_event_email&utm_medium=email&utm_source=eb_email&utm_term=viewmyevent_button
