The pizza shop was a very successful activity this term, as well as learning about food and healthy eating, the children enjoyed imaginary role play by making the pizzas selling the pizzas and running the pizza shop, some made pizzas and worked in the shop, selling the pizzas and taking the money and others were customers, looking at the menu and waiting for the pizzas and tea to be served. To extend this activity we also made pizzas for snack time, this would be a great fun activity to do at home for the summer holidays and a good way to get children to try out different toppings and vegetables 🧀🍅🌽🫑🍍🥬🍄‍🟫🥓🍖🍗🧅🍆

We enjoyed playing in our preschool pizza shop last week, we made pizzas for our snack. We spread tomatoes onto the base, sprinkled cheese and added some pineapple. Great listening to instructions, and taking turns from all the children. Everyone enjoyed eating the yummy pizza slices after our fruit at snack time. 🍕

Last week our theme was ‘Under the Sea’.
The children made a giant octopus for the wall, lots of little jellyfish, we had water with sea creatures and fishes, magnetic fishing games, blue glitter play dough plus other sea themed activities which were all very popular with the children.

We had a wonderful visit this week from We found out some interesting facts about some bugs and creatures.
We had a close look at them and we could touch or stroke some of the creatures.
We met Pip the tortoise, Bella the tarantula, Daffodil the snake, Coco the gerbil, Pickle the gecko, Filip and Filip the cockroaches!
