This week I've traveled the length of the country working with Costa Coffee managers down in Wi******er at the start of the week and now on my way to Carlisle to see the leadership team at Story Contracting.

Both companies have fantastic teams and are investing in supporting their team though the Challenge of Change.

Over to Sheffield this morning to see my friends at the Transport Executive. Been there every month this year delivering part of the Leadership Development Plan we designed for them.

It's been a fantastic time and I've really enjoyed seeing their motivation and enthusiasm grow as well as their skills.

Early start today, traveling across the Pennines to work with the leadership team of a Sheffield organisation. Looking at how they can increase the Effectiveness of Meetings.

We've all been in the meeting from hell, nothing gets achieved, no leaves motivated.

There is a better way, it starts with recognising that your meetings aren't productive and then making a change.

Use the 4 P's, Are you and everyone attending Prepared?What's the Purpose of the meeting, it's goal? Do you have a clear robust Process? Do you make sure you review, ensuring that the Payoff is there for company, customers and individuals?
