Weā€™re expanding our mini-bus service this term to include Forest Row and East Grinstead, in addition to our existing routes serving Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Cuckfield, Lewes, Crowborough and Uckfield.

šŸ„‹šŸŽ‰ Celebrating five incredible years of the Cumnor Dojo! What an amazing journey itā€™s been, and what a year to remember.

This year our students achieved some outstanding milestones:
ā­ Our first-ever Black Belt (Dan Grade); one of the youngest in Renshinkan England!
šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ Three students selected to represent England at the 2027 Japanese Championships; an exceptional honour.
šŸ† Our best-ever performance at the Renshinkan England Championships, bringing home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in a fiercely competitive division.

A huge thank you to our community for your continued support, especially the parents of our committed students. As our original cohort begin their black belt journeys, weā€™re excited to welcome new members and continue growing the dojo into its sixth year.

We are delighted to have been Commended in the Independent School of the Year Awards for Independent Prep School of the Year ā­ļø

This wonderful recognition celebrates the exceptional education, opportunities and sense of community that define life at Cumnor. Whether fearless performers or overcoming nerves, our Year 8 pupils had the confidence and the courage to stand in front of an audience spanning all generations. A long-standing Cumnor tradition, Shakespeareā€™s words continue to leap from the page and into our imagination. Bravo Year 8 šŸ’«

šŸ’« There is something beautifully magical about coming together beneath the stars, to share the wonder of a story. And there could be no more fitting setting to bring ā€˜The Comedy of Errorsā€™ to life than our Garden Theatre! As daylight faded and the evening sky became our canopy, we were reminded of theatreā€™s unique ability to transform us to another world.

Our Year 8 pupils brought energy, commitment, creativity and outrageously good humour to this production, embodying the very spirit of the play itself. A truly memorable last hurrah, we couldnā€™t be prouder.

Huge thanks to our Director, Nicki Martin, for her creative vision and to the extensive team who make evenings like these happen.

A fantastic afternoon at our Nursery & Pre-Prep Sports Day!

After the recent heatwave, the conditions were perfect for an afternoon of racing, jumping and cheering!ā˜€ļø

From the sprints to the vortex throw, our amazing children gave every event their all. There was plenty of house spirit, while the traditional parentsā€™ tug of war brought out some wonderfully competitive moments too!

A huge well done to all our children for competing with such enthusiasm, determination and teamwork.

Celebrating another fantastic year and the incredible work of the Cumnor Parentsā€™ Association!

On the eve of the Summer Solstice, we soaked up the magic of the walled garden before enjoying a truly delicious, seasonal feast. A wonderful evening, celebrating friendship and community.
