Maths is like building a house: the foundations need to be strong and well-established before we begin to lay the bricks. Each brick must be steady and secure before adding the next, otherwise at some point the entire building will come tumbling down.

Mindful Maths books help this process by allowing for over-learning, to ensure children build upon each stage before moving to the next.
