What a game and what an achievement for Oathall U12s, winning the (unofficial) District Cup Final against Warden Park!

After being put into the field, the boys showed great discipline to restrict Warden Park to 117 from their 16 overs, taking two important wickets along the way. A special mention to Freddie, who was the pick of the bowlers.

Played at Lindfield Cricket Club on a grass wicket in fantastic condition, we are very grateful for their excellent facilities and hospitality.

The run chase was nothing short of dramatic. With the game going right down to the wire, we reached 118 from exactly 16 overs, sealing victory off the very last ball.

Retirements for Charlie (25), Ted (21) and Will (19) set the platform, but it was Freddie again, finishing 15 not out, who held his nerve to get the team over the line.

An incredible team performance and a final to remember!

A special moment for our Oathall U13 cricket team as they walked out onto the field of play at the iconic Arundel Castle a few weeks ago.

Wearing their white re-purposed Oathall tops, the boys looked the part as they stepped onto a ground with such incredible history and tradition.

A fantastic experience for the team and one they will remember for many years to come.

Results will be available for collection on Thursday 20th August 2026 between 10am and 11am from the HALL.

If you would like an adult, including a family member, to collect your results on your behalf, you must complete and return the ‘Results Form’ giving your written authorisation before Results Day. Candidates who do not collect their results on 20th August will have their results posted to them on that date.

As we wrap up our second consecutive year competing in the LTA Youth Sussex Schools League, we’re incredibly proud of the progress shown by all of our teams and players.

Every team has improved significantly from last season, demonstrating outstanding commitment, resilience and teamwork throughout the competition. A special congratulations goes to our Year 7 & 8 boys’ team, who finished the season in an impressive 2nd place—a fantastic achievement and a testament to all their hard work.

We’re excited to continue building on this success next season, with the added bonus of playing our home fixtures at Horsted Keynes Tennis Club. We can’t wait to get back on court and see what the next chapter brings!

The Friends of Oathall PTFA is officially relaunched — with our FIRST volunteer fundraising events a great success.

Our founding committee ran a bar at the end-of-year Summer Concert & Drama and Production showcase 🎭🎶 helping to raise vital funds for the school — and providing much needed cold drinks for the audiences and performers 🍹.

Friends of Oathall plan to run more fundraising events next year and your support is needed to help grow our Oathall community.
