🍰 Still planning to donate some home-baked goodies for the London to Brighton bike ride stall?

To make things a little easier, PTA volunteer Lou Blake has kindly offered to collect cake donations at her house until 1pm on Saturday.

If you’d like to donate some bakes but can’t make the school drop-off, get in touch and let Lou know what you’ll be dropping off. She’s based on Green Road, near the War Memorial - please message Lou directly or DM us and we’ll pass the message along.

A huge thank you to everyone who has baked, pledged or donated so far – every cake helps us raise more funds for our children! We need to make sure we have enough baked goods to stock the stall all day so we are so grateful for everyone who is able to donate something! 💙

Another fantastic residential complete! Badgers have had the best time at Bowles this week, skiing, climbing, kayaking, orienteering and so much more. The children were absolutely fantastic and really pushed and challenged themselves. A big thank you to all the staff who supported them during the week and to all the instructors at Bowles for making such lovely memories!

100 Species.

To mark Sir David Attenborough's 100th Birthday, we set children the challenge to spot 100 different British Species.

We have had some excellent entries and half-term is the perfect time to help us reach 100!

Send your pictures to [email protected]
When sharing the photo, please add a caption with your child's name and class along with the name of what they have found and the location, e.g woods, hedgerow, open field, back garden. All species must be 'wild' and native to Britain.

All entries should be submitted by 1st June 2026.

🏅🎉 Sports Day is coming! 🎉🏅

We’re so excited to share that our newly styled Sports Day will take place on the morning of Tuesday 9th June, with the whole school joining in together — followed by a family picnic on the field! 🧺☀️ More details about timings and arrangements will be shared soon.

To make the day even more special, we’ll also be holding a raffle with amazing team-colour hampers! ❤️💛💙💚

We’d love your help by sending in donations in your child’s team colour (red, yellow, blue or green). Donations can be brought into classrooms and will be combined to create our colourful raffle hampers.

Ideas include:
🍫 Chocolate & sweets
🍪 Biscuits & crisps
🥤 Soft drinks
🕯️ Candles
🧴 Toiletries
🎁 Or anything else that matches the colour theme!

Raffle tickets will be £1 a strip and sold on sports day with the winners announced at the end of the event - CASH ONLY.

Please make sure any edible items are in date and do not contain nuts.

Happy birthday, Sir David Attenborough. To mark this occasion we are asking the pupils at Wivelsfield School and Nursery to help our school find 100 different British wildlife species in the area.

We obviously don't want to damage any wild habitats or cause stress to any animals so we would like you or your children to take a photo of what they have seen and send to:

We will be offering a prize to the class that finds the most species and also a small prize to the pupil who sends in a photo that is judged to be the most 'unique find'. All entries should be submitted by 1st June 2026.
