As my lovely Ella turned 16 this year it means we have been delivering K38 training to the Coastguard Team at Arnside for slightly longer. A week before she was born we delivered the first K38 Swiftwater Course on the River Kent.

It’s been a pretty hectic few days around the country with some terrible incidents locally. Spread the word far and wide ! Even though the weathers great, the waters warming up but with big surf and big tides combining to make potentially dangerous conditions. Stay Safe and if you see anyone in trouble call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

The girl was trapped under a boat while a man died after being pulled out of the sea off Cornwall.
