🎵 National Recognition for Music at Hayle Academy 🎵

We are delighted to share that Hayle Academy has been awarded the The PTI Subject Mark for 2026 for Music.

This prestigious award recognises departments that place their subject at the heart of teaching by providing a challenging curriculum, enriching learning beyond the classroom, developing staff expertise, and inspiring students to engage deeply with their subject.

This achievement is a testament to the passion, dedication and expertise of Mrs Brown, who consistently inspires students through high-quality music education and enriching opportunities beyond the classroom. Mrs Brown also leads PTI training for music teachers nationally, sharing best practice and supporting music education beyond Hayle Academy. Supported by the wider Expressive Arts team and our peripatetic music teachers, she helps ensure students benefit from a rich and inspiring musical education.

Congratulations to Mrs Brown and everyone involved in securing this well-deserved recognition. 👏 We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and look forward to building on this success in the years ahead.

And many many thanks to The PTI.
