Good morning families,
I hope that you have had a wonderful summer and are making the most of your last week.
We can't wait to welcome the children back next Wednesday.
Breakfast club will start on Wednesday at 8am (cost £1.50 per child per day) and run every morning.
The main door for KS1 and KS2 will open at 8:30 and close at 8:45. Please make sure that children are at school on time as lessons will begin at 8:45.
The school day will finish at 3:15.
Information regarding after school clubs will be shared next week.
School will be open on Monday and Tuesday to teachers and the office so if you have any concerns/questions, please contact us then and someone will be available to help!

Friday 31st March we will be completing a Bunny Dash (whole school), which will include an Easter Egg Hunt! 🐣

- school reopens tomorrow (Monday)
- Year 6 SATs booster starts tomorrow after school
- Tuesday is a teacher strike day
- Thursday is World Book Day (see Mrs Binovec’s previous post for more info)

We have also been alerted by INEQE Safeguarding Group of a new challenge circulating on TikTok. It is known as the ‘Foopah’ challenge, it involves users attempting to trick TikTok’s moderation systems by flashing their bodies. We had a lovely visit from the Red Sky Foundation, who taught the children how to perform CPR in an emergency.

Outside of the school grounds, we have a textile bank for the Haydon Bridge community to use. Money raised will support Shaftoe School and the Red Sky Foundation.

Tomorrow for Christingle could all children please wear their school uniform. Children will be able to go home straight from the church with an adult. If your child normally walks home, please inform your class teacher if they are allowed to walk from the church.

On Thursday, children can wear Christmas jumpers.
