Forest School & Bushcraft Any Age Stay & Play
Following the Forest School principles, you can be completely guided by your child in our woodland play session with no pressure to participate or time limits during session. This session is aimed at Pre-schoolers and Home Educated children or those on a reduced timetable. The group is relaxed with your childβs play interests at heart; there is a range
of exploration, physical play, natural sensory play, a nature craft to take home along with the opportunity to learn Bushcraft skills. Home Ed children can log their learning of Bushcraft skills and work towards the "Forest Explorers Bushcraft awards" during the sessions if they wish to. Free hot and cold drinks for all participants and a fire snack for you both are provided and a snack for you to enjoy at the campfire during each session. Holiday Clubs
Aimed at 5-14 year olds requiring fun activities during school holidays days, these are full day sessions starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm. Following the Forest school principles there will be a range of activities on offer for children to take part in throughout the day including free play, craft activities including the use of tools, plant & wildlife identification, foraging, cooking & fire-lighting. These longer sessions allow children to get more hands-on involvement, for example by helping with the preparation and cooking of lunch or to focus on larger crafting projects such as carving, den building & rope work.
