An exciting Term Time job opportunity has arisen at Little Oaks After-School Club, Hawkinge for an After School Co-ordinator to lead our team.
Little Oaks would like to appoint an enthusiastic After School Leader to oversee and provide a range of activities for our children and, working alongside our After School Club and Management teams, ensure a safe and happy extended club facility to support our families.

The hours of work will be 5 days per week, 2.45pm - 6.00pm, term time only.

Little Oaks is a very popular After-School Club providing up to 24 places per day to children from our local primary school, from 3pm until 6pm daily.
You will be required to assist the Little Oaks Management Team in delivering continuous good practice and therefore you will need to understand how to lead, motivate and be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the Little Oaks team to get the best from them and ensure they always put the children first.

We are looking for someone with:
A relevant qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3) and experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity;
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with our children and their families
In return, we offer you the chance to work as part of a supportive team within a lovely local community, with happy and confident children.
Full training in first aid and safeguarding will be offered.

Our babies have been learning about wiggly worms for their Wanderlust theme! They had lots of messy sensory fun exploring jelly, spaghetti and foam. 🪱 They displayed great fine motors skills when playing with the tweezers. 😊

The children have been enjoying lots of games over the last few weeks!

This has encouraged them to work as a team and take turns as well as recognising numbers and using their maths knowledge.

We are looking for the right person or people to join our team of passionate Early Years’ educators. You may be level 2 qualified (or above) and looking for the next step in your early years’ journey. More than anything, you must be passionate, flexible, loyal, keen to learn more, a team player and have an ability to think outside of the box.

The position available is all year round, over 3 or 4 days per week, so may suit someone seeking a work/life balance. Are you returning to childcare after a break? We'd love to hear from you too
