Hi everyone! 😊
As part of our upcoming Enterprise topic, the P1 and P1/2 classes are hoping to develop and refresh some of our play and learning areas. We would be incredibly grateful for any unwanted items you may have at home that could be donated and given a new life in our classrooms.
We would particularly love:
🛍️ Shop & Enterprise items – old catalogues, supermarket/shop leaflets, menus, paper shopping or gift bags, small baskets, purses/wallets, clean empty food packaging, small boxes, price stickers/labels, till rolls, old gift/loyalty cards (with no personal information), calculators and notepads.
🧱 Construction – any unwanted Lego, Duplo, Mega Bloks or similar small construction sets, bricks or pieces.
🏠 Small world & imaginative play – little people, animals, vehicles, buildings, dolls, dolls-house furniture and accessories, or other small-world toys that are no longer being used.
✉️ Message centre – spare paper, notepads, envelopes, cards, stickers, old diaries/calendars and other stationery.
🎨 Creative materials – coloured or patterned paper/card, wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon, wool, fabric scraps, stickers and other craft materials.
Please don’t buy anything specially – we’re simply looking for clean, safe items that you may already have at home and no longer need. Even a few spare pieces can make a big difference!
Donations can be handed into the school office or sent into school with your child.
We would be so thankful for anything you are able to donate. These resources will be very well loved and will help us provide lots of engaging opportunities for play, creativity and learning across both classes. 💛
