🎶 Celebrating 2 Wonderful Years of Teaching Music 🎶
I’m feeling incredibly grateful as I wrap up my time as a Secondary Music Teacher at Aberdeen City Council. The past two years have stretched me, inspired me, and filled my heart with joy. It’s been such a privilege to teach, guide, and grow alongside some truly amazing students.
Here are a few highlights I’m proud of:
✨ Teaching Milestones
🎧 I built and taught a brand new BGE Music Technology unit
🎤 My S2 class won our school’s Battle of the Bands competition!
🌊 Helped lead an emotional performance of My Heart Will Go On for our ASN Awards Ceremony
🎠Took part in internal concerts and our school show
🌟 Student Successes
💃 My K-Pop Club performed at a school concert (and totally stole the show!)
🎧 Students created amazing music tech projects - film foley, podcasts and music production
🎹 Two of my piano students passed their Grade 3 ABRSM exams, with one earning a Merit and the other a Distinction!
💬 I’ve grown so much in confidence, resilience, and creativity. It hasn’t always been easy, but it's been so rewarding. I’ll always carry the memories, lessons, and laughter with me as I step into the next chapter of my journey.
