Well done to our athletes who performed so well at today’s Hawick Primaries’ Inter-school Sports.
Drumlanrig pupils won 9 of the races and 5 field events. Combined with lots of other great performances this saw Drumlanrig win the Girls and Boys Trophies and the overall title. We also shared the Girls Relay title with Wilton.
Thanks to Mr Thomson for all his hard work coaching and organising the team.
Thanks too to Active Schools Coordinator Lauren Grant for organising a great day’s competition.

Well done to our cricket team who followed up their success at Perth last week, by retaining the Hawick & Wilton Cricket Club Primary Schools Trophy.
The Drumlanrig Renegades team were given a real test in the semi-final by their schoolmates, the Drumlanrig Hurricanes, winning by 34 runs.
This meant they faced Stirches in the final.
Drumlanrig batted first scoring 176-5. They then restricted Stirches to 44-8 to win by 162 runs.
Well done to Josie who was named the competition’s best bowler and Eilidh Johnstone who took the best batter award. Congratulations too to Lana who has captained the team superbly.
Thanks to all the parents and friends who have supported all our teams over the last 6 weeks. Thanks too to Hawick & Wilton CC for hosting the competition and allowing to use their facilities for training.
Special mention as ever to Moff for his help and support and Mr Hunter for all the time he gives up.
Please note training is still ON until the end of term.
