I’m having an “open kitchen” on Sunday 2nd October from 12-2pm in the kitchen at Humble Pie. I have cake tins, baking trays, some pans, loads of aprons, a fridge & separate freezer, large sink unit with cupboards, crockery, utensils etc, the blinds (39 ins wide) - even Christmas baubles! All must go!

If any of you asked me to reserve anything, please remind me if I haven’t contacted you to check I haven’t forgotten!

I have such a soft spot for these students attending our last “Grow your skills” class - they’ve been so often and got so good! I’ll miss them.

I have had THE BEST weekend - doing a course 😂.

My introduction to the stained glass process creating this beauteous piece - I absolutely adore it - designing, cutting, painting, leading - amazing!

Thank you so much to the fabulously talented Caryl Caryl Hallett Stained Glass- patient, calm and so generous with her instruction and guidance. I will definitely be back and cant recommend highly enough!

It is with sadness that I have to announce that the Cookery School will be closing permanently on 30th September 2022.

I have loved meeting so many new people over the past 2 1/2 years (and will continue to do so in the next 3 months!) and your enthusiasm and support has been amazing and so appreciated.

So, if you have always wanted to come and haven't got round to it, now is your time! Or if you want a family or friends get together, give me a ring and we'll book something in the diary.

Many of you still have vouchers to redeem - give me a ring and I'll get you booked in for the course of your choice.

I will keep posting, cooking and chatting over the next few months and look forward to your usual interactions.

I am taking annual leave (between lambing time and haytime for the farmers amongst you!) from tomorrow to 11th June so won't be able to easily respond to emails and messages. I will certainly be in touch when I get back.
