Our school is friendly and nurturing; a place where you can be assured that we will provide the best education for your child. We are working hard to realise our vision of becoming a health and happiness promoting school. Each pupil has a strong sense of their own identity a

nd is a valued member of the school community. The staff work tirelessly for the children and enjoy an excellent home-school partnership with parents. Strong community links are a strength of our school and we work hard to maintain these links. The stimulating, supportive atmosphere encourages confidence, enthusiasm for learning and consideration for others. We place a strong emphasis on good manners and thoughtfulness, developing life skills of social confidence and making friends as well as the ability to learn and use information technology, solve problems and make sensible judgements. Our school values link closely with pupil rights and inform much of our work. Being a small school, pupils receive individual attention, while at the same time enjoy being part of a lively outward-looking school community. We know our children well and balance support and challenge to maximise potential. I very much look forward to welcoming you and your child into our Hook family.

Year 6 Leavers – It's Time to Say Goodbye
As we say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils, we celebrate everything you've achieved and the wonderful memories we've made together. You've grown in confidence, kindness, and courage, and we're so proud of each and every one of you.
Although it's time to move on to new adventures, you'll always be a special part of our Hook CP school family, our small and friendly school with a big heart. Keep believing in yourselves, work hard, be kind, and never stop reaching for your dreams.
Good luck in HHVCS we know you'll do amazing things. Hwyl fawr a Pob lwc.

Hook CP talent show was amazing! Our pupils showcased a wonderful variety of talents and performed with confidence, entertaining their friends and teachers with fantastic performances. We are incredibly proud of every pupil who took part and thank them for making the event such a memorable success.

End of year Class rewards!
Over the school year pupils have been praised for their efforts in class and kindness around the school. Now It’s time for their class rewards which they have decided. These will take place on Friday 17th July

Morlo - bring a scooter/bike/wheels with a helmet please for fun challenges and games in the playground

Dolffin water play please all bring a change of clothes
Ser Mor games on the field and park

Friday special farewell parade all to line up to say final good bye to year 6 at 1pm

School Disco Reminder

Just a reminder that our School Disco is on Thursday from 3:30pm–4:30pm!

🎵 DJ: Mrs Andrew
🍭 Candyfloss: Mrs Ramsey

Entry: £5 per child, which includes:

- 🌭 Hot dog
- 🍭 Candyfloss
- 🥤 Drink

If your child would like to bring an extra £1, we'll also have light wands and glow sticks available to buy.

Collection: Please collect your child from the club at 4:30pm.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Please bring your disco clothes to school in a bag to get changed in school at the end of the day.

Mrs Griffiths and a few children from Dosbarth Morlo will be going to the Eisteddfod on Sunday August 2nd. They will be performing the Garreg Las song at 11am in the village and again at 12:00pm on the main stage. If you wish to come and support or be part of the performance then please let Mrs Griffiths know this week. Diolch.

Thank you to all pupils for their contributions, excellent behaviour, and enthusiasm at our Monday after-school clubs this year.

Our after-school clubs have now finished for this academic year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and resuming clubs in the autumn term.
