10 Years of Castle School

Castle School, a firm favourite in the community, celebrates 10 years of academic success with charity challenges and exciting extracurricular events.

With pupils raising ten Tenners over ten months, the target of £10,000 seems more than achievable to support Tŷ Hafan - the school’s designated charity. Various events have been taking place to celebrate a fabulous first 10 years. We have already seen what hopes to be an annual event as motorists took to their vintage vehicles for the school’s first Classic Car Run. Brave students in years 9, 10 and 11 ran into the sea for a fundraising ‘Big Dip’. There has also been a quiz night, 2 mile colour run spring fete and currently auction of promises.

This is a genuine celebration of all the hard work and effort that has gone into creating this small independent school with a true family feel. In a world where increasingly big tends to be deemed beautiful, it is gratifying to see there is still a place for the smaller school which offers a more individual approach to all its pupils. Situated in a delightful grade II listed building, only 5 minutes from Narberth, the school houses a charming little prep where children from 3-years benefit from a holistic yet challenging education, preparing them admirably for the transition to big school and beyond. The senior school has seen fabulous success in its academic results whilst still managing to offer a dynamic education fit for the 21st century.
