We’re delighted to announce that the Darwin Centre has been shortlisted as a finalist for STEM Educational Programme of the Year (Not-for-Profit) at the Wales STEM Awards!

This recognition belongs to our amazing team, partners and the thousands of young people, teachers, families and communities we work with across Pembrokeshire.

A huge thank you to Dragon LNG and Dragon Energy for their incredible, long-standing support. Our partnership has helped make high-quality STEM experiences free and accessible to schools and communities across the county for more than 20 years. 💙

We’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside so many fantastic organisations helping to grow STEM in Wales.

Now we just need to keep everything crossed! 🤞

Today we are at the Dr Beynon's Bug Farm! We are running two workshops and have a table of marine curiosities to explore!

Family Rock Pooling & Push Netting in Dale! A lovely afternoon exploring the intertidal and shallow seas. Lots of crab and fish species today 🤩. Top fish finds included Shanny, Worm pipefish, European eel, Conger eel, Juvenile wrasse, Stickleback, Goby and Rockling! Big thanks to everyone who came, hope you all had a fantastic time!

The Cleddau Community Award celebrates the individuals, schools, businesses, families, volunteers and community groups who are making a difference to our wonderful waterway.

You can nominate yourself or someone else, and nominees will be invited to a special Cleddau Community Cruise in September 2026.
