1. Why did you pick this course?
I picked the course because I thought it would help give me an insight as to different things the police and other emergency services deal with and how they overcome certain issues by working together.
2. What did you enjoy about it?
Enjoyed all the practical sides and going to Milford to have a session with the firearm officers and getting to see all their kit
3. What are you doing now?
I’m now a student officer in training, doing the PCDA for 3 years
4. How has this course helped your next steps?
The course informed me about the PCDA and encouraged me to go for it because the whole idea of going to uni to do a degree put me off my policing career, and extremely thankful for it now.

Dewisais i'r cwrs achos ro'n i'n meddwl y byddai'n helpu i roi mewnwelediad i fi o'r gwahanol bethau mae'r heddlu a'r gwasanaethau brys eraill yn delio â nhw a sut maen nhw'n goresgyn rhai problemau trwy gydweithio.
2. Beth wnest ti ei fwynhau amdano?
Dw i wedi mwynhau'r holl agweddau ymarferol a mynd i Aberdaugleddau i gael sesiwn gyda'r swyddogion drylliau a chael gweld eu cit i gyd
3. Beth wyt ti'n ei wneud nawr?
Dw i nawr yn swyddog myfyriwr dan hyfforddiant, yn gwneud y PCDA am 3 blynedd
4. Sut mae'r cwrs hwn wedi helpu dy gamau nesaf?
Rhoddodd y cwrs wybod i fi am y PCDA a ches i fy annog i fynd amdani oherwydd bod yr holl syniad o fynd i’r brifysgol i wneud gradd wedi fy rhwystro rhag dilyn fy ngyrfa blismona, ac yn hynod ddiolchgar amdano nawr.

Snowdonia Expedition has been and gone this week. The group pushed themselves throughout and managed to summit Snowdon itself in difficult windy conditions. It was a great 3 days!

Mae Alldaith Yr Wyddfa wedi bod ac wedi mynd yr wythnos hon. Gwthiodd y criw eu hunain drwyddi draw a llwyddo i gyrraedd copa’r Wyddfa mewn amodau gwyntog ac anodd. Roedd yn 3 diwrnod gwych!

Group 1 just summitted the highest peak in Pembrokeshire, Foel Cwmcerwyn, at 536m high. This in preparation for May when we summit the highest peak in Wales... Snowdon, at 1085m.

Let's go!

Such an incredible opportunity yesterday for learners across Uniformed Protective Services and Military Preparation. They met the skipper of the Force Atlantic mixed gender rowing team who set a world record for rowing the Atlantic Ocean earlier this year.

Such a phenomenal achievement.

Learners received a presentation and had an opportunity to ask questions with the focus on teamwork, resilience, overcoming adversity and communication.

Such a fantastic opportunity and many thanks to Captain Scott Po***ck and WO1 Mark Collocott for taking the time to visit and inspire our learners.

British Army have a female recruitment event coming up on Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea. There is plenty of parking available around the area. Please see flyer attached.

They've got a female solider delivering a presentation on her story so far and what it’s really like being in the British Army – from a female perspective .

The infantry will also be there along the Royal Armoured Corps and the Army Reserves.

This is a great opportunity to find out more about the British Army, what jobs are available and to ask questions.
