Smart Home Training Center was pleased to host a 10‑day Work Experience placement for four students from Horndean Technology College - HTC
Throughout the programme, the students gained hands‑on exposure to key industry areas including health and safety, smart home integrations, networking, structured cabling, IoT technologies, CCTV systems, and practical troubleshooting.

We’re proud to support the next generation of engineers and to showcase the impact and potential of automated environments and intelligent systems. Investing in young talent is essential for the future of our industry, and we look forward to continuing this work. 👏

Big thanks to Sonia Zhang and the team at akubela and Akuvox for equipping our lab with a brand-new Akubela Training display panel! Having this hardware in the classroom gives our trainees a firsthand look at advanced automation in action.
