Welcome to Park Community School, Primary Campus

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our primary students for their first day on Wednesday 2nd September.

A few reminders before the big day:
👕 School Uniform: If you have not yet collected your child's uniform, you can do so on Tuesday 1st September between 1.00pm and 4.00pm from the secondary campus.

🚪 Arriving on the First Day: On Wednesday 2nd September, the Primary Campus gates will be open from 8.30- 8.40am. Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) will be on the gates to guide you and show you where to drop off and collect your child. There are separate arrangements for Year R.

🍽️ Breakfast Club: All students are welcome to attend our Breakfast Club from 7.30am free of charge.
While our booking system is being set up, if you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club on Wednesday, please contact the Primary Campus Reception between 1.00pm and 4.00pm on Tuesday 1st September.

Lunch menu: Our fantastic menu is attached for the first week back, please go through this with your child in preparation for the first day.

2 September
Year 7: 8.25 am start- in all day
Years 8,9 and 10: Student Review Day
Year 11: 11.30-2.30 GCSE Ready Day

3rd September
All years in all day with staggered start. A reminder of the times are linked here.

If you still need to buy unform items, all are available at Skoolkit, but we also have blazers and PE quarter zips available at discounted prices from reception on 1 September 1-4pm.

A reminder to primary school parents about primary uniform collection:

Primary bundle collection only - 20 August (between 1pm – 3pm) at Park Reception

Primary bundle collection and sale of Secondary uniform also on 1 September (between 1pm – 4pm)

We will also be taking £20 payment (cash or card) for pre-ordered primary bundles today between 1-3pm

We enjoyed a fantastic morning on our Travel and Tourism reward trip with our Inspired group. A huge thank you to Mr Redman for making the visit possible.

Our first stop was Hayling Island Beach, where students had the opportunity to speak with the team from Pink Island Mobile Concessions about their business and the role tourism plays on the island. We are also grateful to Charlotte Atkins from Funland for generously treating our students to a refreshment of their choice and for taking the time to answer their questions.

We then visited the Sinah Gun Site, where Mr Coates shared the site's rich heritage, discussed its importance to local tourism, and gave students an insight into some exciting future plans for the area.
Our final visit was to Hayling Holiday Park (Meadow Bay), where students met Jonathan Clarke, General Manager, who spoke about the holiday park, its operations, and the tourism industry. Students were also kindly treated to a slushie and a few games.

Throughout the morning, our students represented Park Community School exceptionally well. They engaged thoughtfully with each visit, asked insightful questions, and thoroughly enjoyed a well-deserved reward trip.

Students can come to school out of uniform and will finish at 1pm after their final assembly
