Due to starting my new job today, I am going to have to revise my availability and time slots to accommodate my contracted work hours. I will have a review of these as soon as I am home and will contact anybody that may be affected by these changes.

I will be offering online sessions for primary age children. These will be basic sessions that are designed to develop confidence in certain subject areas.

☆ Times Tables ☆

Exciting and interactive times tables sessions that are specifically designed to help children become confident in reciting times tables and mastering important number facts.

☆ Creative Writing and Poetry ☆

In these sessions your child will be immersed in the world of creative writing and story telling. We will focus on the use of a range of features to help improve our writing such as alliteration, metaphors and similes, fronted adverbials and more. Each week we will focus on a different themed image, using it as inspiration when we put our new skills into practice.

☆ Mindfulness and Wellbeing ☆

These small sessions provide a safe and supportive environment for children who may struggle with anxiety and stress. The focus is on fostering creativity, offering an opportunity for children to share their worries, and teaching mindfulness techniques and methods.

☆ Reading Rangers ☆

An interactive reading group where we embark on a journey to develop confidence and fluency in reading. Through the exploration of small texts, we engage in thoughtful discussions, enhance comprehension skills, and delve into the intricacies of the content. This nurturing environment provides an opportunity for participants to grow their reading abilities while fostering a love for literature and critical thinking.

💛 Story maps are one of my favourite ways to help children learn a story.

Once they are familiar with a text, they can use it as inspiration for their own writing. Story maps are also amazing for helping children build confidence in reading aloud and develop their reading fluency. 📖❤️

'The Colour Monster' is a fab story to help children understand their emotions and feelings too, and can be used to help with emotional literacy 💕💕

⭐ A great way to develop confidence in number recognition. Depending on age and ability, children could write each number into the shape, or possibly try adding the numbers together in each stack! 🌟
