Congratulations to the first cohort of pupils to complete Queenswood’s Global Perspectives IGCSE – achieving an outstanding three A*s and three As!

Taught entirely outside the normal timetable, the course challenges pupils to explore some of the biggest issues facing our world, from climate change and conflict to AI, human rights and inequality.

Along the way, the girls develop the research, debate and critical-thinking skills associated with A-Level study, culminating in their own independent mini-EPQ-style research projects.

A fantastic example of the curiosity, independence and intellectual ambition at the heart of scholarship at Queenswood.

At Queenswood, we know how girls learn and how to help them thrive. This year's GCSE results delivered a value-added score of at least 0.98, meaning students achieved, on average, one grade higher per subject than predicted by baseline tests.

Congratulations to our Year 11 pupils on an outstanding set of GCSE results!

With well over half of all grades awarded at 9-7, more than double the national average, our students have achieved exceptional outcomes. Even more impressively, early indications show that, on average, each pupil gained a whole grade higher in every subject than baseline predictions.

Senior Deputy Head Ian Sheldon commented: "What we have here, year on year, is exceptional achievement compared against a nationally representative cohort - and that is a measure of a good school, not merely the absolute grades."

A special congratulations to Evelyn N, who achieved a full set of Grade 9s, and to Sahi K, Alice B and Amy S, who each secured nine Grade 9s. We're also delighted that every student in our first IGCSE Global Perspectives cohort achieved an A*/A grade.

We are incredibly proud of all our students and grateful to our dedicated staff for their support and encouragement throughout the year.

We are delighted to celebrate another year of very strong A-Level results, with nearly one third of all grades awarded at A* or A.

Students have secured places at prestigious institutions including UCL, King's College London, the University of Manchester, Newcastle University, Warwick University and the London College of Fashion (UAL), studying subjects ranging from Medicine and Engineering to Economics, Natural Sciences and Fashion.

A special congratulations to all our students and staff for their hard work, determination and resilience. We are proud to see so many students progressing to their first-choice destinations and wish them every success in the exciting journey ahead.
