Friday was one of the 10th Anniversary Celebration events of the Public Involvement in Research Group, founded in 2005. We had a great tea-party attended by current and past members of the group and the Mayor of Welwyn and Hatfield, Lynne Sparks. Here are some of the photos of the event. Thanks to all who attended for making it such a great event, and of course to Helena Wythe and Julie Mace for all their organisational work!

Come along to find out more about our study on older people and food, chance to win a jar of sweets (guess how many are in the jar), find out about our photographic competition for under 16s, take part in our interactive twitter event and... eat some cake, or just come and talk to us...!!! We will be there from 10-2pm.

There will be over 30 other stalls too...

HealthFest will be located outside the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City on Saturday 13th June from 10am to 2pm. It is a free event centred around health and wellbeing but more importantly the Offset (older people's food provisioning) research team from CRIPACC will have a stall at the event promoting their research and I understand that they will also be going armed with cakes!
