We can’t wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow! 🥳

A new school year means new opportunities, new experiences and plenty to look forward to (from learning and friendships to clubs, trips, activities) AND this year, new improved Bishop's Facilities…! 👀🏗️

The Ashworth Block is OPEN, bringing:
🏫 4 brand-new Humanities classrooms
💙 A new Pupil Support Centre
🌟 A dedicated base for our Heads of Year

Our Sixth Form has also been transformed, with:

🕣 Year 12 & 13 to arrive by 8:30am
⏰ Year 13 finish: 12:20pm
⭐ Senior Prefects & Head Girls finish: 1:00pm
📖 Year 12 finish: 2:15–2:30pm

🎉Congratulations to our incredible GCSE & BTEC students! 🌟

With 34 of them achieving 6+ grades at 7–9 and brilliant results across the year group, there is plenty to celebrate! 🌟🏆

A special shout-out to our straight 7–9 achievers: Sanu, Krishna, Martha, Ela, Caitlin, Riyya, Babara, Lottie and Holly! 👏✨

Today is more than just results. We are celebrating hard work, resilience, friendship and the kindness shown to one another along the way. 💛 We couldn’t be prouder of you.

A huge thank you to the families and staff who have supported and encouraged them too throughout.

And if today didn’t go quite as hoped, remember: one set of grades does not decide your life journey. This is only just the beginning. 🌟

🎉 A Level Results Day 2026! 🎉

Huge congratulations to our Class of 2026 at Bishop's Hatfield Girls' School! Today we're celebrating brilliant A Level and vocational results, with many students securing A*/A grades across two or more subjects. 🌟

Mr Wood, BHGS Headteacher, said: "I am so proud of our students. They have achieved some fantastic results, but just as importantly have shown great strength of character, determination and kindness."

Thank you to our fantastic teachers, staff and families for supporting them along the way.

👏 Wishing all our students the very best as they head off to university, apprenticeships and beyond!

And to those who didn’t get the grades they were hoping for: please remember that one set of results does not define you or your future. There are many different routes to achieving your ambitions and we are proud of the resilience and courage you have shown. 💜
