The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

🌈We have had some tablets kindly donated from Currys for our setting to help us with our move to online platforms, this will help us update parents regularly on their child's learning via tapestry and other useful online tools😊🌈

Welcome to day 1️⃣ of The Queen’s Celebration Weekend!

💂 Trooping the Colour will take place at Horse Guards Parade, followed by Gun Salutes and a Flypast.

🔥 Over 3,000 Jubilee Beacons will be lit across the UK, with the Principal Beacon at Buckingham Palace.

School applications for children due to start primary, junior or middle school in September 2022 opened today, Monday 1 November. The easiest way to apply for a school place is to visit www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions and complete the online application form. Last year, 99 per cent of parents applied this way and found the system quick, easy and secure. The closing date for applications is Saturday 15 January 2022; it is vital that parents make their applications on time.

👻🕷🎃🐈‍⬛🦇 Last week we had lots of Halloween themed activities going on, our favourite was the pumpkin patch we made in the woodland area! The children loved picking their pumpkins to take home! Thank you to Morrisons Hatch End for kindly donating the pumpkins to make this possible. We have also set up a Halloween Scavenger Hunt around the Garden Village for this half term! Can you find all of them?! We have a picture of the checklist below, have a lovely half term! 🦇👻🐈‍⬛🕷🎃
