Artemis Childcare Limited We operate 3 nurseries in the Hastings and St Leonard’s area, in East Sussex. Artemis Nursery was established in 2007.

We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age in very safe, homely environments. We are open 51 weeks per year (closed for one week at christmas and bank holidays). It was initially located in St Leonards, but due to its success and considerable increase in numbers, has expanded to encompass a further two sites, one in Hastings and more recently a site in Hollington. Artemis Nursery is a fam

ily nursery, being both run and owned by Emma Buggy and her brother and sister in law Dominic and Lee. Emma is an experienced nursery teacher who has taught children for over 18 years. She holds an Early Years Teacher Status and has degrees in both ‘Early Childhood Studies’ and ‘Early Years’. At Artemis, children in our care are happy, nurtured and encouraged to develop. We want to ensure that every child leaves us with a stimulated and enquiring mind and with lots of confidence in their own abilities. We aim to achieve this by providing a structure for learning where children explore, experiment, play and make decisions for themselves, thus enabling them to progress and be fully equipped for future schooling.
