Founded in 1978 by Sue Marshall, HSCD has over 40 years experience teaching generations of dancers. Our school provides professional training in a range of techniques creating a diverse and creative dancer. HSCD provides equal opportunities and welcomes anyone with an interest in movement and dance, whatever their gender or ability. Everyone has the opportunity to express themselves within their own range and to experiment with creative choreography. It is important to us that our teachers are passionate and knowledgable about their chosen dance style. This means we can ensure students are being taught by the right teacher for the technique. Our teachers are fully DBS checked, first aid trained, mental health first aid trained and qualified to teach in their area of expertise.
